Replying to Bob Plautz - Intro question in LO1370 --

a church. The church by the way is very conservative.

As part of my work with SearchNet, in Phila, I have been inventorying the
use of the future search conference approach to building shared vision.
I've gathered basic data on about 150 conferences, including several
conducted with churches. The authors report great success with this
approach. I'll be happy to send you a copy if you'll provide an address.

Future search is a methodology originally developed by Fred Emery and Eric
Trist in the UK. Marv Weisbord and Sandra Janoff have developed a very
user-friendly version of the approach, and you can find out more about it
by contacting SearchNet (215-951-0300) or reading Marv and Sandra's new
book on it, just out from Berrett-Koehler.
