The standard for getting permission to use material is >100 words in
the book publishing field - I'm told as an author. (I don't how
pictures are handled.) That's a rule of thumb that seems to make
sense for to me - for whatever I write, at any rate.
As far as attributing a quote, I would appreciate being referenced if
the quote is apparently unique or if the idea or formulation is
apparently original.
I have published and will publish again - maybe even some of what
I've put into these conversations. However, what is valued by me is
the dialogue itself and I hope that is much wider than just this
list.
