I am enjoying our sharing immensely! I sense many of us are searching for
something special...We can "feel" it but perhaps can't articulate it
well...As I sat here thinking of that, I recalled a metaphor often found
in neurolinguistic programming books; some may remember. The story
involving looking for something lost in the yard because it was light
there; dark in the house where it most likely was. Are we looking where
it's the most light? What would it be like to wander into the dark
house...or dark area? How would we recognize it? Would we? I wonder if
this isn't related to the somewhat intrinsic appeal of the "doing nothing"
discussion. Perhaps we need to be.....

still.

Host's Note: The version I've heard is that someone is down on their hands
and knees at the street corner, looking for their keys, in the list of a
streetlight. We ask, "Is this were you lost them?" and and answer is,
"No, I lost them over there."

"Then why are you looking here?"

"Because it's dark over there."
