I agree that there are parallel channels of communication in stories: the
conscious and the unconscious. This concept continues to be the target of
much scrutiny, as you must know.

Myth in the broadest sense is part of the weave. Not only is there the
story in words, but also the mouth-agape, wide-eyed, slow nodding
reactions (no doubt each for compellingly different reasons) which
accompany the actual telling of story.

The study of Mime and Movement incorporates many interesting points of
bodily reaction to myriad input.
