Dear Learning-Org: This is the final question in the series of
four. Your contribution has been splendid thus far for which I
am very thankful. If you wish your answers to Q#4 to be included
in the CQI-L archive, you should try to answer by Friday 28. You
can send your answers to any of these addresses:

<cqi-l@mr.net>
<reimann@access.digex.net>
<heproc-l@american.edu>
<learning-org@world.std.com>

Your responses will form part of the joint HEPROC-CQI-L archive
on this topic, located on URL <http://www.digimark.net/educ>.

Thanks! -Carl

4. Question four is an invitation to develop a definition of
"learning organization" that makes sense in the higher education
setting. If you work on this question, remember the problem
caused by mishandling or overuse of terms to the point that their
meaning and credibility is reduced. It is already apparent from
HEPROC-L discussions that some faculty are as leery of "learning
organization" talk as we know many are of "tqm" talk. We must
develop a definition that will not turn away those who can reap
the benefits implicit in the concept at hand.
