I apologize in advance in case this is a silly question, but what is
the contemporary definition of _Learning_ and of _Learning
Organization_ ?

Host's Note: Not a silly question at all!

I defined Learning Organization in the info file for this list, following
Senge's definition: A "Learning Organization" is one in which people at
all levels, individually and collectively, are continually increasing
their capacity to produce results they really care about.

And, in the same vein, "Learning" is increasing the capacity for
productive action.

These aren't the definitions in the dictionary. For our use, I think the
best definitions will come from the fields of education and psychology.
Who else will add to this?
