I agree, Rogers' book is very good. He and Floyd Shoemaker had an earlier
book, Communication of Innovations: A cross cultural approach. Free Press,
New York (1971). That is also good. The risk-aversion dimension is also
covered in Geert Hofstedt's work on corss-cultural dimensions of management
(see anything under his name).
