So the logical question is, by what means did you/your team develop
your goals and measures? Did you follow a process that is trackable?
Do you have a vision of what your want your organization to look like
in the near or distant future? These questions are extremely important,
or should I say that the answers are extremely important. Without a
vision that reflects the desired future state, it will be impossible to
get there; without a process that is trackable, it will be impossible
to ensure that you are moving in the right direction; and without a
process to develop goals and measures, you will not be able to ensure
validity in the groups work. Hang in there, nobody said this stuff
was easy.
