CHALLENGING BOUNDARIES
IN LEADERSHIP EDUCATION

Association of Leadership Educators Conference
July 6-8, 1995
Colorado Springs, Colorado

As leadership educators, we all realize the need to challenge our own thinking
about our audiences, effective ways to teach leadership and even, to broaden
our understanding about leadership as both concept and practice. This year's
ALE conference is designed to help us challenge our own boundaries in
practicing and teaching leadership. We will also learn tools and techniques
to help our audiences challenge themselves. And beyond traditional audiences,
we will become aware of the diverse populations with unique needs and
interests in leadership education. so, won't you join us in Colorado Springs
as we search for creative, diverse, challenging ways to be leaders and promote
leadership?

At 6,000 feet in the Rocky Mountains, Colorado Springs offers a magnificent
backdrop to our conference and the opportunity for you to take a professional
break to refresh yourself. the view from our Sheraton meeting room is
spectacular, the mountains are invigorating and the list of nearby attractions
is endless. Garden of the Gods, Air Force Academy, U.S. Olympic Training
Center, Royal Gorge, Pike's Peak Cog Railway, museums, historic sites,
Southwest art and culture, and more.

The Sheraton Hotel is convenient to attractions, sightseeing, shopping and
great restaurants. Two swimming pools are available (one indoors and one
outdoors) along with tennis courts, a putting green, a children's play area,
exercise room and hot tub. Most rooms overlook Pikes Peak or the garden
courtyards. Free parking and a free shuttle service to and from the Colorado
Springs Airport will make your travel easier. Many airlines fly into Colorado
Springs.

So, bring yourself, bring friends and colleagues, bring your family, bring
your ideas, bring your enthusiasm, and after this conference...take home
inspiration, personal renewal, and new challenges in leadership education.
