I use the video a lot in my work....and yes, the "guys" are made out to be
kind of "Father Knows Best" type simplistic nerds. But, I'll tell you
something that I am experiencing lately....I think that my in advertent
boycott of "All in the Family", and " Murphy Brown" and "Ellen" and all
the rest of the "best" TV shows has seperated me from the main stream, as
it were. That is not to say that I should (or anyone should, for that
matter) engage in these activities if they do not want to....but if we
want to gain some support for all of our acknowledgement that we are in
this world together and together and collectively we reap greater
benefit...then, if there is a way to illustrate or demonstrate the quantum
notion of everything...then, I'm all for it.

You might find it interesting to note that last year, I was invited to
facilitate a dialogue (actually it turned into a discussion) about
MINDWALK. The organization was an advertising agency (my work is in
health care) and I, foolishly, accepted the invitation. The notion of
collective relationships and connections and the points about DesCarte and
Newton were secondary to the notion that this "poor woman was lost and
isolated and she needed her husband and family to make things
better....and the end provided closure to this....she was going home!"
Also, talk centered around whether she would take Waterstons (sp?) offer
to go to DC.....so, MIDWALK - schmindwalk - some get it - some don't....I
agree with all of your points....and my colleagues would argue the
same....even about Capra....but...we do need and should seek..."guides to
enlightenment"...have you checked the best seller list lately???????
Thanks for listening......Myrna
