The best book I have found to this date in multicultural management is
Albert Koopman's "Transcultural Management" (Basil Blackwell, 1994 - it
first came out in 1991). I have this one before. I am using it in a
cross-cultural management class, and I am having a lot of fun with it.
Students are reacting slowly to it, because it is not a textbook. The
book contains some of the experiences the author has had in South Africa,
dealing with the two major cultures in that country. It is a great book,
and as you read it you realize a lot of the mistakes we have made thorugh
the centuries (yes, centuries!) in dealing across cultural lines!
