Good June-uary learning-org-ers!

I co-chair a recently funded regional technology planning board (it's called
K+ - for Knowledge Plus). I want to demonstrate the concept of vision and
what a good one represents for an organiz'n (especially a startup). While my
intention is *not* to pick and choose from among those that already exist, I
do want the board to get a sense of how a good one is framed and what it can
do, both within and outside of the organization.

Can you help me? I am seeking well-stated visions from companies; other
organizations; and municipalities (if they're out there!). I got some major
motivation yesterday from M.L.King's "I Have a Dream" speech - if that's not a
vision, I don't know what is!

I hope to reinforce my belief that our vision should articulate broad goals,
in no small part because our funding, Depts of Education & Econ. Develop't, is
predicated on us serving as a pilot/template for similar initiatives in the
state. If we don't dream the big dream, who will?

I'll be happy to provide contributers with updates on the progress of the
board.

Thank you for any assistance you can provide.
