I have found the CFO and the VP of corporate services to be the partners
in our current change process. Although I control 50% of the company
resources, the other 50% need to be "evolved" and they have more influence
there than I because they are "impartial" - I "could" ge tot that position
but have too much to do daily to get there.
So I am supporting your premise that the choice of "pertner" or internal
champion is crucial to the success of the chnage process.
