Alexia Martin wrote about having participants develop their own case
studies. She asked about possible dangers. One area to watch for is
the need to bring participants up to speed on what makes a good case
study. In my experience, having non-trainers develop the case studies
works well, but...It helps to provide an example for them to follow as
well as some guidelines on writing case studies. I suspect the case
study would still require editing by the trainer.
