Prof. H. Thomas Johnson ( School of Business Administartion,
Portland State University) in his book "Relevance Regained, 1992"
provided some valuable comments/directions on
"New Frontiers for Business Education (see charter 10)"
about MBA courses.

He quoted " Between 1963 and 1987 the annual number of MBA
graduates from 5,787 to 67,496. There are now more than a million
MBAs. If they were improving the quality of U.S. management, the
results ought to be obvious by now. They are't. Indeed, the
MBA explosion has coincided with a deterioration in the performance
and stature of corporate America." from Robert J. Samuelson.
