We went up to Cape Breton and visited a rug hooking musuem (done with a
local flavor & locally made little hooks) and went to a tiny, wonderful
music shop to look for the Cape Breton sound. We found a Christmas
album by the Rankins and the store owner was happy to discuss my quest
for a screaming regimental bagpipe version of "Hey, Johnny Cope".
The quest continues, but the store is great. The store is Charlie's
Downhome Music.

Cape Breton, along the coast. We stayed at Pat's B&B in Antigonish
Harboour. Very nice and the food both at Pat's and in town was excellent!
Then we took a ferry to Prince Edward Island. |
