1977 EOD Oct 2, GS-7, indexed overhead photography (using punch cards!) & original cataloging of intel pubs at NPIC,
1978 promotion to GS-8
1979 GS-9, Acquisitions librarian responsible for Western Hemisphere and West European serials in Acquisition Branch, met Tom, worked using OCLC dumb terminals and a dumb termninal primitive LAN
1980 promotion to GS-11, TDY to Western Europe
1983 moved to Document Library as reference librarian, specialized in retireving the documents from defunct intel agencies, had TTY access to commerical databases
1984 promotion to GS-12
1985 moved to the main library as a reference librarian, but spent most of the time setting up the library's first PCs.  PC access to commercial and government databases
1988 started the OUTSIDE project to give end users access to commercial databases, government databases, and Internet. 
1989 promotion to GS-13, rotation to an analytic office as database consultant and reference librarian.  Taught Internet, commercial database searching, wrote patent database documentation, COTR on OUTSIDE  data contracts
1990 ran the DIPP (DI Internet Policy Panel) as well as OUTSIDE, start of TIES (getting the right open source info to the right analyst electronically and in real time)
1991 COTR on TIES data contracts, married Tom, security plans & audit trails of the various systems took much time, OUTSIDE, Internet tutoring, DIPP continue
1992 a new office is created to expand TIES into ROSE (Rich Open Source Environment) to more analysts and outside tte Agency, added COTR for Library database contracts as well as OUTSIDE and ROSE contracts
1993 TIES changes to ROSE
1994 promotion to GS-14
1995 defended ROSE contracts before Agency Contracts Reveiw Board, moved to OVERTURE project working on tools to manage data
1996 moved to Office of Training & Education  to teach FDIT (a 4 week full time class required for all new professionals in the DI)
1997 Received Agency Instructor certification,  resigned 10 October, moved on island
1998 RSVP/America Reads volunteer West Tisbury School
2000 Americas Reads continues, West Tisbury Library volunteer cataloger, volunteer Elder E-mail tutor
