My name is Ruth Dabritz and I live in Portland Oregon. I am a partner of RUTHIE'S WEAVING STUDIO located at 3131 SE 50th Ave., where we teach and weave on some 25 looms. We have two J-Made looms: 1. 16 shaft 60" wide 20 treadleas made of light maple. 2. J-Comp 16 shaft 48" with 2 warp beams the upper has 1" sections and the lower is plain. IWe are fortunate to bve in close proximity to Dale who helps us whenever we call him. We use both WeavIt and Fiberworks for software. I personally like to run the loom with WeaveIt. I have been weaving for about 30 years and have been teaching since 1981. Besides the aforementioned looms We have several Bergmans, both countermarch and counterbalance, a Woolhouse single unit drawloom, a couple of Mountain Looms, a Harrisville Rug Loom and various other jack looms. If you come to Portland drop in to see us. We are open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 am to 8 pm and on Fridays and Saturdays from10 am to 4 pm. Happy weaving,
