(I know the ducks are too big - I'm looking for ones the right size! He also needs shoes, a hat, and Gaspode - who I've found but just needs a paint job! This Duck Man is an Emperor in an alternate universe!) |
| From Hogfather
"He was accompanied by a perfectly ordinary-looking man in torn, dirty yet expensive clothing, whose pleasant tenor voice was drowned out by the quacking of a duck on his head. He answered to the name of Duck man, although he never seemed to understand why, or why he was always surrounded by people who seemed to see ducks where no ducks could be." ... .... ... "The beggars walked their erratic and occasionally backward walk along the city streets, while fresh morning snow began to fall. Occasionally one of them belched happily. They all wore paper hats, except for Foul Ole Ron, who'd eaten his. 'The goose was good,' said the Duck Man, picking his teeth. 'I'm surprised you et it, what with that duck on your head,' said Coffin Henry, picking his nose. 'What duck?' said the Duck Man". |
I see the Duck Man as wearing cast-off clothes and a coat he has made from old blankets. But the cast-off pants were clearly once very elegant and the blankets are made of llama, silk, mohair, & spun dog fur. |
