Here is the group I traveled to Aruba with to see the eclipse. I am the one in the front wearing the black shirt and hat.

 
Here is a picture of the approaching shadow about 30 seconds before totality. It can be seen to the far left against the clouds. Fortunately the clouds were moving away at the time.

   
 
Here are some shots of the partial phases. The last one was taken about 3 minutes before 4th contact.

  
 
Here are some pictures of Bailey's Beads taken before totality. Note the large solar prominence on top of the last photo.

  
 
Some spectacular solar prominences were visible. The one on the top of the sun was slowly covered by the moon, as another prominence appeared on the right.

 
 
The corona surrounding the sun was also spectacular. As the moon moved towards the upper left, it covered the bright inner corona and exposed the inner corona towards the lower right.

Shown below is a composite of the entire eclipse in black and white. The exposure times are printed on each photo.
