Hi,

I want to speak to the human owner of this email conference: this is
why I am using your address. Let me explain my problem briefly: I
don't actually want to permanently unsubscribe from the journalism
conf, but I must temporarily unsubscribe, and then resubscribe, the
reason being that our old mail program, now discarded, originally
gave you my email address as
MAXWELL%NEWARTS_PMB@GATE.CC.UNP.AC.ZA

This is a mongrel address, now defunct; but it is the address that
the journ conf has in its brain!! But when I try to unsubscribe, your
conf says I am not subscribed, because it is right now seeing my
email address in its PROPER, current form i.e.
maxwell@phil.unp.ac.za

Could you somehow kick me off, and then let me immediately subscribe
again with my proper email address???
