The Inside Of Jim's Knee
The following pictures were taken during the arthroscopy of my right
knee on April 24, 1995 to clean up ACL and meniscal tears.
Arthroscopic view of the lateral compartment of my knee. The
meniscus, seen on the left, was torn in the body of the cartilage and
extended anteriorly. The shaver blade can be seen on the right after
cleaning up the meniscus.
An arthroscopic view of my torn anterior cruciate ligament.
After resecting the torn ACL, the knee moves again (yea!).
