=== NWS Regional Synopsis - 619 AM EST SUN JAN 27 2008 ===
Low pressure off the mid Atlantic coast early this morning will rapidly
intensify into a strong storm today. Wind gusts up to 60 knots will occur
north and west of the storm center as it pushes to about 150 nm s of Nantucket
this evening. The storm center will drift slowly east northeast Monday,
finally weakening as it pushes seaward during Tuesday. A cold front will cross
the region Wednesday, followed by dry high pres Thursday and Thursday night.
Low pressure will move out of the Ohio valley Friday, crossing New England on
Saturday.
