We will see mostly sunny skies after a cloudy start, particularly south of the
Massachusetts turnpike. Nonetheless, temperatures should recover from the
mornings` cold start to the low to mid 40s. Monday night, skies should start
off mostly clear, but they will become mostly cloudy from west to east after
midnight in advance of an approaching storm system. Lows may bottom out
between 10 and 15 well inland to around 30 in downtown Boston. High pressure
will provide dry weather through tomorrow. Low pressure heading east from the
plains is expected to bring a wintry mix to the interior Tuesday and Tuesday
night, with mostly rain near the coast. High pressure will bring colder
weather Thursday and Friday. Another storm system may affect southern New
England next weekend.
