Today morning lows were mostly in the mid 20s, except for the mid teens across
some of the colder interior valleys of western Massachusetts. Clouds will be
on the increase by afternoon as a cold front approaches from the west. Highs
Saturday will be close to there seasonable normals in the low to mid 30s.
Tonight skies will be cloudy as the cold front gets closer. There will be a
chance of some light snow over the Cape and islands as an area of low pressure
passes well east of Cape Cod by Sunday morning. Lows tonight will range from
the teens to mid 20s. Sunday will see an early end to any snow across Cape
Cod. During the late morning and early afternoon an arctic cold front will
push across southern New England with a chance of scattered snow showers. It
will be blustery and cold with highs early in the day ranging from the teens
to upper 20s but falling during the afternoon with a gusty northwest wind.
