A cold front moved off shore during the evening and drier air moved into southern New England. Early morning lows ranged from the mid 20s to mid 30s. A strong low pressure system over eastern Canada will slowly move off to the northeast over the next couple of days. Today skies will become partly to mostly cloudy and there will be a chance of scattered snow showers over the northwest interior. Highs today will range from the mid 30s to mid 40s. For tonight skies will become partly cloudy during the evening with still a chance of a snow shower or flurry over the northwest interior. After midnight skies should become mostly clear. Lows tonight will range from the upper teens to upper 20s across the region. Wednesday will start off with bright sunshine but skies will become mostly cloudy as the day progresses. There will also be a chance of some light snow over western sections as cold front moves towards the region. Highs Wednesday will be in the low to mid 30s.
