High pressure moves offshore but plenty of dry air will give us a fine mostly
sunny day. Later in the afternoon clouds will thicken and increase.
Temperatures will range in the mid to upper 40s with a few locations spanning
50 to 55°. Rain will develop this evening and overnight from the southwest to
northeast. The rain may mix briefly with sleet or some wet snow overnight. A
storm system will bring a mix of precipitation to the region late tonight
through Thursday morning. Drier but colder weather will follow through the
weekend. A coastal storm may affect New England early next week.
