Locally heavy downpours and scattered thunderstorms should occur this morning through mid afternoon. A wind advisory was expanded earlier this morning along the southern rhode coast and the blue hills. The wind advisory remains in effect until 3pm this afternoon. A cold front pushes offshore with drier and cooler air to follow this evening. A weak secondary cold front will move across southern New England during the day on Tuesday.
