Skies will remain mostly cloudy across southern New England throughout much of
the day with partial sunshine possible across western areas during the
afternoon. There will be a chance of some of light snow or rain showers, with
southeast Massachusetts having the best chance. Todays temperatures will be
similar as yesterdays only around 40. Tonight there will be a chance of
evening snow showers with gradual clearing skies after midnight. Low
temperatures should drop down into the lower 20s across western areas, while
coastal areas will settle in the lower 30s. Monday skies will become mostly
sunny with seasonable highs in the mid 40s. Low pressure has tracked off the
mid Atlantic coast during the overnight. The system will strengthen rapidly,
but track far enough to the south the the northeast will escape with light
snow showers. High pressure builds into the region on Monday into Tuesday.
