Today under mostly partly to mostly sunny skies temperatures should be even
warmer than yesterday with near record warmth up into low to possible mid 60s.
Temperatures over inland southeast New England and Connecticut should rise
into the lower 60s, with mid 50s elsewhere normal highs for the second week in
January are in the 30s. Tonight skies cloud up with a chance of showers by
morning. Lows will range from the upper 30s in western Massachusetts and
southern New Hampshire, to the upper 40s across coastal sections. Wednesday
will remain cloudy with showers. Highs will some 5 to 10 cooler than today,
but still up into the low to mid 50s. High pressure off the mid Atlantic coast
will remain anchored into the mid week. A cold front Wednesday will be
followed by a cooler high pressure Thursday.
