Today will feature partly sunny skies and be rain free with milder than normal temperatures for this time of year. A partly cloudy start during the evening hours will give way to cloudy conditions as the night progresses. Minimum temperatures will be during the evening as temperatures will rise after midnight. Expect drizzle and fog late tonight into Monday morning for most locations. A few isolated valley locations may have freezing drizzle. For Monday, with the persistent mild southwesterly flow, afternoon high temperatures will climb to the mid to upper 40s at locations along and north of the Massachusetts pike as well as the Connecticut valley. It will be even milder with 50 to 55° readings for southeast Massachusetts, Rhode Island and northeast Connecticut. It will become partly sunny by the afternoon, but a good portion of the area may stay mostly cloudy all day with spotty morning drizzle. High pressure off the mid Atlantic coast will remain anchored there into Wednesday, resulting in above normal temperatures. A cold front Wednesday will be followed by a cooler high pressure Thursday. Another low pressure is likely to provide a period of precipitation sometime next Friday or Saturday. === The weather observed at WORCESTER, MA at 07:54 AM EST was: === The skies were mostly cloudy.
