A wintry mix of sleet and freezing rain gradually moves south into southwest New Hampshire and northwest Massachusetts by late morning. Highs should settle in the mid 30s north of the Mass Pike, with lower 40s south of the pike. Tonight cold air should slow push south with a mixed wintry precipitation gradually moving south during the overnight. Areas north of a line from the Massachusetts north shore, through greater Worcester and into northern Connecticut will see a change to snow after midnight. Thursday the mix and snow and sleet continues into the early afternoon. The rain and snow line will gradually push south to the coast by evening.
