High passes offshore this morning with a southwest flow developing. Under a
mix of sun and clouds temperatures will rise to 45 to 50° during the
afternoon. Tonight as a cold front approaches clouds thicken with a chance of
rain by morning. Lows should should by mostly in the mid to upper 30s. A few
areas in southwest New Hampshire may pockets of freezing rain. A cold front
will move through southern New England on Tuesday and stall along the south
coast Tuesday night. Low pressure moving up along the front will cross
southern New England on Wednesday and bring periods of heavy rain. Weak high
pressure will then bring drier weather for Wednesday night and Thursday.
