Today southern New England will have a brief warm spell before the return of
seasonable cool temperatures. For the rest of today it will be windy and warm
with scattered showers. Highs will be running well up into the 50s to lower
60s. Tonight showers tapper off during the early evening, with a cold front
pushing across the region after midnight. Lows should drop down in the mid 30s
by morning. Wednesday will have plenty of sunshine with highs up into the
upper 40s to lower 50s. Low pressure over the central Great Lakes this morning
will pass well north of northern New England tonight. Strong high pressure
follows late Wednesday into Thursday.
