A beautiful partly to mostly sunny day is coming up and temperatures will be 5 to 10° warmer than yesterday, generally within a few degrees of 60. Gusty west to northwest winds will develop again this afternoon but not be quite as strong as the past two days. Tonight will be clear with lows in the 20s to lower 30s. Saturday will again show plenty of brilliant sunshine but be 5 to 10° cooler than today. Forecasts highs are generally expected to be in the upper 40s to mid 50s. Sunday will start out sunny but clouds will increase during the afternoon and showers may arrive in the Connecticut river valley late in the day. It will reach the 50s everywhere except within a couple of miles of the coast where cooler breezes occur all day. A dry cold front will cross southern New England this afternoon accompanied by some cloudiness. Canadian high pressure will build into New England tomorrow and then slide offshore Sunday.
