Wind chill values were down into the 20s, even the upper teens over the high terrain. Today will once again feature brilliant sunshine, very low humidity and blustery northerly winds gusting between 30 and 40 mph. It will be seasonably cool with highs from the upper 40s to mid 50s. Tonight we will experience a gradually diminishing wind after 9pm, under mostly clear skies. Lows will be generally in the 20s except lower 30s urban centers. Friday will be warmer. Clouds will filter the sunshine during the afternoon ahead of the next cold front. As that front passes, a gusty wind will develop once again late in the day. Highs will generally be in the 50s but the Connecticut river valley should see readings rise into the lower 60s. Saturday will continue this stretch of fine late March weather with highs mostly in the 50s along with brilliant sunshine. Strong cool Canadian high pressure was centered over James Bay Canada this morning. That high will slide into the mid Atlantic states by Friday morning, to be followed by a dry cold frontal passage late in the day Friday. Then another cool Canadian high pressure system will move southeastward, building into New England over the weekend. === The weather observed at WORCESTER, MA at 07:54 AM EST was: === The skies were clear.
