Today will feature plenty of sunshine with high pressure remaining in control
of the regions weather. It will still be on the unseasonably cool side with
highs ranging from the mid 30s to around 40, but winds will be much lighter
than yesterday. As high pressure moves off the coast tonight, clouds will
quickly thicken. Some scattered showers may develop as well, and some of these
may freeze on contact over the interior as temperatures hover around the
freezing mark. Thursday will be quite warm with highs well into the 50s for
most locations. However, it looks to be a mostly cloudy day with a few showers
around from time to time. A cold front will cross the region Friday and will
bring with it some shower activity.
