The good news is that wind will steadily diminish as the day wears on. Mostly sunny skies are expected. Weak low pressure will move across southern New England late tonight, bringing with it an increase in clouds. A few snow showers or flurries will be possible late tonight and Monday as the low passes by. Weak low pressure will once again develop over or just south of the region on Monday night, bringing with it a chance of light snow. The best chance at seeing minor accumulations will be over southeastern Massachusetts. Low pressure will rapidly develop off the southeast coast of the United States Wednesday night and move northeast Thursday as a strong gale center. At this time all of our available information says that this will be a near miss for southern New England in terms of a significant snowfall as the low tracks well to the southeast of Nantucket. However, the potential still exists that the storm tracks further west than progged and delivers a harder blow to the region. Stay tuned. === The weather observed at WORCESTER, MA at 07:54 AM EST was: === The skies were clear. The prevailing visibility was 10 miles.
