Skies will start off partly to mostly cloudy this morning. It will also be
very cold, as early morning lows bottomed out from 6 below zero in Keene New
Hampshire to 11° in Chatham. There could be a few snow showers across northern
Connecticut, central and southern Rhode Island to south coastal Massachusetts
through the day as a weak low moves off the mid Atlantic coast and heads out
to sea. Highs today will reach into the teens to mid 20s. Skies will become
partly cloudy tonight. It will still be chilly as temperatures fall to the
single digits and teens, with some below zero readings across southern New
Hampshire. Another arctic front will dive south across the region during
Thursday, bringing another batch of bitterly cold air. Winds will pick up once
again during the afternoon. Highs on Thursday will be in the mid teens and
20s, which is still well below normal for the first week of March.
