Temperatures had fallen into the 20s and 30s with light west to southwest winds. High pressure will become centered off the coast of the Carolinas today through Thursday. This will bring milder southwest winds to our region, with temperatures continuing to average well above normal into the weekend. Under sunny skies today, highs will top out in the upper 40s to mid 50s. Sunshine will dominate again on Thursday, and it will be even milder with highs ranging from around 50 in the Monadnocks and immediate south coast, to the mid and upper 50s elsewhere.
