A scattered deck even swept across Rhode Island. West of Worcester however, skies remained clear to partly cloudy overnight. Lows this morning dropped into the 40s. Skies will be mostly sunny today across most of southern New England, however clouds will continue to sweep across eastern portions of the region this morning, but give way to peeks of sunshine by noon. Highs today will range in the mid to upper 60s along the south and east coasts, but over the interior highs will be in the upper 60s to the mid 70s. Seabreezes will develop this afternoon, which will aid in keeping the coasts cooler. High pressure will build east of the Ohio valley tonight bringing clearing skies to southern New England. Lows tonight will range in the 40s. The high will shift offshore of the mid Atlantic coast early Thursday, and a return south to southwesterly wind flow will transport warmer air into the region. Highs on Thursday will reach into the mid 70s to near 80. Along the south coast, it will be bit cooler with highs nearing 70.
