Clear to mostly clear skies prevailed across southern New England this
morning. Patchy fog developed is some of the river valleys, but was not all
that dense. Temperatures at 5 am this morning ranged from 45 to 50°. The
morning weather map showed a low pressure over northern New England. This low
pressure will continue to move farther away from southern New England today
and tonight. A weak trough of low pressure is expected to approach our region
later today into tonight, and may trigger some showers across northwest MA and
southern NH. another low pressure exiting the Great Lakes will likely bring
another round of showers to southern New England Thursday night into Friday.
Cooler and drier weather should arrive Saturday, although this may be short
lived as another low pressure may move into southern New England Sunday or
Monday.
