There were a few showers along the south coast of Massachusetts, but they will end by mid morning. Temperatures at 5 am were mainly in the lower to mid 50s. After the sun makes an early appearance today, clouds will redevelop, mainly across central and eastern Massachusetts, Rhode Island into southern New Hampshire. There could be a few brief showers or sprinkles as well from around midday into the afternoon. Highs will generally be in the 60s, but a few locations could reach to the lower 70s. Monday will be a more pleasant day, with more sunshine than the last several days as temperatures soar to the 70s, much more seasonable for early June. The outlook for Tuesday calls for partly to mostly sunny skies, but there could be a few showers in the afternoon. A slow moving low pressure system just off the central coast of Maine will creep into the Canadian Maritimes by tonight.
