Several locations in coastal New Hampshire and extreme southern Maine received over two inches of rainfall since Wednesday morning. Most locations in southern Maine received about one inch of rainfall, with much of central New Hampshire getting between one and two inches of rain. Most of northern New Hampshire received less than one-half inch of new rainfall. Overnight temperatures were generally in the 50s. Low pressure located near Nantucket island this morning will churn northward today, and bring an additional half inch of rainfall to much of the area. Temperatures today will remain in the 50s in most locations. Another storm system will approach the region Friday afternoon, bringing another potentially significant bout of rainfall to northern New England.
