Temperatures climbed into the 70s, with Lebanon topping out at 80°. A weak cold front will move off the coast early this morning and will bring clouds and scattered showers out to sea with it. This will leave us with quite a bit of sunshine and mild temperatures for this afternoon. High temperatures once again will reach the 70s for most communities, and a couple towns may hit 80. Another weak cold front will slide off the coast early Saturday as a series of weak low pressure systems zip along the front. This may bring a few showers to the region. Any showers should end early Saturday afternoon, or perhaps late Saturday afternoon over more northern and eastern locations. High pressure will bring sunny weather for Sunday and Monday with temperatures closer to normal values for this time of year. By mid week the forecast becomes a little more uncertain. Low pressure will push north along the east coast during the middle part of next week. The exact track and speed of this system will determine if it stays dry or if some shower activity works its way into northern New England. === The weather observed at WHITEFIELD, NH at 08:52 AM EDT was: === The skies were clear.
