Early morning temperatures were in the 50s with light and variable winds. A weak ridge of high pressure to our west will make for a pleasant early June day. Partly to mostly skies are expected although the sun will be out at times. This will allow high temperatures to range from the upper 60s along the coast, to the mid 70s in the Connecticut river valley. Skies will be partly cloudy tonight as low temperatures range from the upper 40s across northwest Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire, to the mid 50s in the urban centers of Boston and Providence. More patchy fog is expected to develop again in the typically prone areas. Tuesday will be partly sunny and turn out somewhat warmer than today. Highs will range from the upper 70s to lower 80s across most locations. However, easterly winds will hold high temperatures in the 60s along the immediate coast. An unusually strong coastal storm for early June will bring more cool and wet weather to the region Wednesday and Thursday. === The weather observed at WORCESTER, MA at 08:24 AM EDT was: === The skies were cloudy.
