No RAOB data was available by Sat Jun 3 11:00:05 EDT 2006. === NWS Regional Summary - 1030 AM EDT SAT JUN 3 2006 === A flood watch remains in effect through Sunday morning over southwest Maine and over all but northernmost New Hampshire. Rain fell all morning across New Hampshire and all but northernmost Maine. The rain was moderately heavy in many spots, but not quite heavy enough to create any immediate flooding of our already swollen creeks and streams. Temperatures were pretty uniform in the 50s and low 60s all morning and northeast winds were moderately strong along the coast but lighter inland. This afternoon and tonight the coastal low that's causing the rain will move slowly east through southern New England. This will maintain the onshore flow and the low clouds and occasional rain over the region right into Sunday morning. This will result in an additional 1 to 2" of rainfall over central Maine and the northern half of New Hampshire, with perhaps another inch expected in southern sections and less than that in the far north of Maine. On Sunday the low will weaken and move up into the Gulf of Maine. This will cause the winds to become a little more northerly and the rain to become lighter and more occasional as the day progresses. Northern Maine may even see some sun tomorrow but it will remain cloudy and cool all day everywhere else. On Sunday night and Monday the low will dissipate and the air will slowly start to dry out over New England. This will set the stage for some much improved weather over Maine and New Hampshire on Monday with the sun breaking out to warm things up into the 60s and low 70s. === The weather observed at WHITEFIELD, NH at 10:52 AM EDT was: === The weather reported was moderate rain and fog.
