A few flurries are possible with the passage of the trough, otherwise partly sunny skies are expected today. Temperatures will climb to slightly above average values this afternoon, with highs in the upper 30s to lower 40s. In addition, breezy conditions will develop this afternoon, as west to southwest winds increase to 15 to 25 mph. Dry and mild temperatures will continue into Saturday, as a broad area of high pressure moves into the mid Atlantic region. An arctic airmass remains on schedule to arrive Saturday night into Sunday, as a sharp cold front sweeps across the region. Temperatures Sunday will likely remain in the teens and lower 20s. In addition, a blustery north wind will generate bitterly cold wind chills Sunday. The very cold weather will persist into early next week, as arctic high pressure builds across the northeast. === === === ORH Terminal Aerodrome Forecast issued 13-Feb-2004 06:20 EST === 7am: 25008kt P6sm Bkn030 9am: 26012g22kt P6sm Bkn030 5pm: 25018kt P6sm Sct040
