Skies cleared last night over southern New England, as a cold front began to
push through the area. Temperatures were in the mid 30s to mid 40s just before
sunrise. The cold front will move off the coast this morning, followed by a
northwest flow of drier air into the region. High pressure over the midwest
will build over New England tonight and Monday, then become stationary off the
coast by Tuesday. This will set up a mild southerly flow of air for at least
the first part of the week. Wet weather will probably return later in the
week, as a cold front approaches from the Great Lakes, and a series of low
pressure centers travel along it.
