This high gave New England a clear calm and cool night. Wet surfaces from the melting snow Thursday re-froze in many locations. This high will give southern New England one more nice weather day, with temperatures climbing again into the 40s, and maybe even a few 50s. However a storm, developing over Texas and the Gulf Coast states, will move northeast toward the Ohio valley late today. This storm will bring more precipitation, mostly as rain, to the region Saturday as it passes across Pennsylvania and New York state. The precipitation may begin as a wintry mix before changing to rain.
